MDMA ADVOCACY

An understanding and awareness of the policy discussions taking place in Washington related to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and other federal agencies is a must for medical technology executives. The decisions made in Washington can impact your company for many years to come. Lack of participation is not an option for the long term viability of the entrepreneurial sector of the industry.

Over the past 15 years, MDMA has grown from a one issue organization to an effective advocate on every major issue affecting the innovative sector of the medical technology industry. We would like to remind our members of the importance of having their voices heard on Capitol Hill.

WORKING GROUPS

We invite all of our member companies to participate on one or more of MDMA’s Working Groups. These groups facilitate discussions on a variety of topics impacting the entrepreneurial sector of the marketplace. Additionally, task forces identify potential or existing problems within the industry that need attention.

LEGISLATIVE ACTION CENTER

The importance of smaller companies being represented in Washington cannot be overstated. MDMA is constantly monitoring legislation and regulations that can impact the medical technology community, and consistently represents the collective interests of our membership.  However, our ability to impact policy decisions is directly related to how much participation we have from our members. MDMA's Legislative Action Center provides tools which allow members to quickly and easily contact their elected officials, local and national media and colleagues in industry on important issues and pending legislation.
