Eric received a BSE in biomedical engineering from Duke University and an MBA from Stanford University. Prior to joining Cervel, he was President, CEO, and Founder of Calypso Medical and Executive Director of Ethicon Endosurgery (J&J). At Calypso, he brought a novel tumor tracking technology for use during delivery of radiation therapy to market along with a successful reimbursement strategy. At Ethicon Endosurgery, he directed worldwide market and business development and US marketing for all oncology products. His therapeutic area experience includes oncology, cardiovascular health, women’s health, and now, neurologic and psychiatric and neurologic disorders. Eric serves on the Board of Directors for Virtual Ports, Inc. (Chairman), Ziba Design, Medical Device Manufacturers Association (MDMA), and Young President’s Organization (YPO). His extracurricular passions include breakfast, lunch, dinner, soccer, watching college basketball games, and surfing.
