President & CEO, Smiths Medical
Jeff serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Smiths Medical, a $1.3B division of Smiths Group, plc. He joined the organization in March 2014. Jeff is an experienced senior executive with more than 25 years in the healthcare industry, including medical devices, diagnostics, services, and healthcare informatics.
Before joining Smiths Medical, Jeff served as President of the Global Reconstructive Division at Zimmer, where he oversaw five global business units and numerous functions. He held previous roles as President and Chief Executive Officer of Wolters Kluwer Health, and President and General Manager of the Global Diabetes Business at Medtronic. Jeff began his career at GE Healthcare. During his 13 years at GE, he held progressively more senior roles, last serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Clinical Services.
Jeff also serves on the Boards of the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed), the Medical Device Manufacturers Association (MDMA), Medical Alley, the Joint Replacement Hospitals of America, Avidyne Corporation, the American Red Cross Northern Minnesota Region, and the Advisory Board of the University of Cincinnati College of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He previously served on the Board of the Cleveland Clinic Innovations.
Jeff graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and received an Executive MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
